That presupposes a good intent on behalf of all political movers.  A premise 
I find hard to swallow.

Arguing against the existence of an "Elite"  kind of flies in the face of 
the fact that this country got to choose between two Harvard educated rich 
white guys from the SAME FRATERNITY as it's chief authority figure.

I find the non-existence of an Elite to be an extraordinary claim.
