Ah! I got your point that time, and to some degree, I agree with you. We
need to look closely at ANY possible vector for violence against children
or anything that encourages children to "act out" in a violent manner, no? 

However, if we are going to talk rationally about keeping our children
safe from violence, how about we do something about the epidemic,
out-of-control violence on television? Neuter the bastards that either
sell the idea that violence is hip to our kids, or that attempt to ever
suggest that violence is an acceptable means to resolving problems. 

If we are going after kids who write fiction that is prone to violence, we
should at least take a good shot at the idiots on television who
popularize violence to begin with.
