Good evening, Lowell!

Lowell C. Savage wrote to Tim Bedding...

Uhm. In your reading, did you run across the fact that the current owner of
the property at 34 Cilley Hill Road, Weare, NH is one David Souter who just
happens to be the Supreme Court justice that wrote the majority opinion in
Kelo vs. City of New London? The whole idea behind Logan Darrow Clements'
plan is to hoist Justice Souter by his own petard. When someone uses
government power to violate the rights of individuals, I see no hypocrisy in
defenders of individual rights giving the government officials a taste of
what they have wrought.

I wish a lot more of this kind of thing would happen. Sadly, it most often does not. Most Americans bend over backwards and take it where it hurts, then meekly suggest that this is the way things are today, and we all have to endure life in the 21st Century with realities as such. I have a lot of problems with individuals who embrace such a mind set. They have managed to surrender their liberty under the pretext of a so-called common good.

Common for who? might be a better question to ask.

Kindest regards,
Frank
