If you go to the front page of the libpqxx site at http://pqxx.org/ you'll see a message about this (look under "Expect 2.6.7 release soon"). That message includes fixes for this and other problems. > Jeroen, I know you're > terribly busy, but would there be any chance that you could get that > release out there some time soon? It would probably be a good idea to > move the "stable" label from 2.6.6 to 2.6.7 as well then. :-) I've been very eager to, but have been waiting for some answers from people about patches for their specific systems. On the other hand, the patches were for (1) a workaround for a broken grep version, which insofar as I can test it should work (and the proper fix is for the user to upgrade grep anyway), and (2) linking the sockets library in MinGW, which was so problematic anyway that I don't think the patch could make things much worse even if it should turn out not to work. So I'll just go ahead and release 2.6.7 today. Jeroen (Who just lost power several times in a row while trying to write this message... It happens when it rains--exactly when I have nothing better to do than work on libpqxx. Anyone care to donate a UPS for libpqxx development?) _______________________________________________ Libpqxx-general mailing list [email protected] http://gborg.postgresql.org/mailman/listinfo/libpqxx-general
