Hi, I have managed to compile and run the tests. At the tail end of the tests I received the following - " ./test090: symbol lookup error: ./test090: undefined symbol: PQescapeStringConn FAIL: test090 ==================================================== 8 of 91 tests failed Please report to Jeroen T. Vermeulen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ==================================================== make[2]: *** [check-TESTS] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/Installed/libpqxx-2.6.7/test' make[1]: *** [check-am] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/Installed/libpqxx-2.6.7/test' make: *** [check-recursive] Error 1 [EMAIL PROTECTED] libpqxx-2.6.7]$ " I think I have included the relevant parts. The system is Fedora 5. running on i586. I installed postgresql from sources instead of using the distribution version. Postgresql works perfectly as far as I can tell. My question is - should I be concerned about failure of 8 out of 91 tests. Input would be greatly appreciated. I am going to install it anyway and take my chances but would like to know.
Thanks. Rabin _______________________________________________ Libpqxx-general mailing list [email protected] http://gborg.postgresql.org/mailman/listinfo/libpqxx-general
