Hi,

I have managed to compile and run the tests. At the tail end of the
tests I received the following -
"
./test090: symbol lookup error: ./test090: undefined symbol:
PQescapeStringConn
FAIL: test090
====================================================
8 of 91 tests failed
Please report to Jeroen T. Vermeulen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

make: *** [check-recursive] Error 1

"
I think I have included the relevant parts. The system is Fedora 5.
running on i586. I installed postgresql from sources instead of using
the distribution version. Postgresql works perfectly as far as I can
tell. My question is - should I be concerned about failure of 8 out of
91 tests. Input would be greatly appreciated. I am going to install it
anyway and take my chances but would like to know.

Thanks.

Rabin
