One area in which the interests of Wikimedia and libraries are pretty much aligned happens to be Open Access, and I am regularly invited to such conferences - last one was http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Daniel_Mietchen/Talks/Open_Access_in_Poland_2012 . However, as others have pointed out, there has been very little in terms of tangible outcomes so far.
I am planning for some edit-a-thons during Open Access Week, though, which will be October 22 - 28. I would be glad to see this run under a GLAM flag.
