Oro and Regexp sit together side by side peacefully.

Struts and Turbine sit together side by side, somewhat less peacefully.  ;

Make a proposal, submit it to the PMC, and be prepared to defend it.  Heck,
if you feel like it, submit it to the board and Glom can sit side by side
with Jakarta itself.

Meanwhile, if there is some creative tension between Avalon and this (as of
yet unnamed) subproject, perhaps we will see some progress towards stable
interfaces out of Avalon :-P.

My main goal of pushing this issues was to make people aware of the
potential duplication, not to preclude it.  Mission accomplished.
