Take http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Library_Release_Notes, please: "The software and interfaces for creation are still in alpha test stages, and we are just forming links "
but I think that statement dates from *2007*. There are 2000 pages on wiki.laptop.org using the word "currently". There are 6000 with the word "will". Any mention of the present or future on a wiki page is DEADLY. I added “Write for posterity: avoid "currently", and date "will" ” to http://wiki.laptop.org/go/OLPC:Style_guide I think this guideline is self-evident and uncontroversial, but edit away. And force yourself to date statements about the present and future. -- =S Page user:skierpage _______________________________________________ Library mailing list [email protected] http://lists.laptop.org/listinfo/library
