I think that waiting for the Amarok Devs to update the code to enable support for libre.fm may be a long wait.
I suggest that libre.fm should think about using the Amarok plugin function, and provide a plugin to Amarok that will connect to libre.fm and submit the necessary information. Remembering that some of us still use Amarok 1.4 in preference to Amarok 2, there may have to be two plugins, as plugin support changed with Amarok 2. What is the thinking about this direction?
