I'm not--I work for a company that's interested in the ability to --in a
word--"scrobble" a user's library collection. Our end goal would be to
provide recommendations to the user, based on what they have in their
collection.

Can you tell me what libre's main benefits are? (from a music service
standpoint)?
How can we use it to personalize the experience for the user?
