disapproved of by major portions of society.  You do not need to—

Overcoming this⸮  She has!

She has moral right to the libreboot name.  FSF/GNU no longer does,
even if legal right thereto is held by FSF.

My suggestion for FSF/GNU would be to abandon use of the libreboot
name for their fork thereof going forward.
