great! initrd is the only thing loaded before boot manager, so when we have driver/modules/capabilities problems on boot, it use to be the guilty =)
as far as i saw, this "HOOKS" define which modules will be loaded into initrd image and on boot, so you got it :) can you write down which "two lines" can be confussing, and which is the right one? maybe when i scape from procrastination and install my libreboot come handy to me =) regards, D On Tue, May 10, 2016 at 09:06:26PM -0400, [email protected] wrote: > > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > Hash: SHA1 > > I figured out what happened; I had HOOKS un-commented in two different > places; I commented the second one, and I was able to boot up the machine. > > On 05/10/2016 08:00 AM, nongnu.org [Masked] wrote: > > > > --------------------------Blur (formerly > DoNotTrackMe)--------------------------- > > > > Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" > > > > Finally I get my T400s work by flashing it with rom for T400, and apply > > the patch > > 0014-northbridge-intel-gm45-Automatically-enable-second-L.patch > > (attached, which I got from resources/libreboot/patch/ within the latest > > master branch.
