We can't reasonably expect everyone to feel comfortable disassembling their 
router. The higher the bar of technical knowledge required to flash means 
fewer people will do it. If the requirement of joining the free world is 
that they must first learn desoldering, etc. then fewer people will be 
doing it. libreCMC is for everyone, even those who have no idea what a SOIC 
clip is.
