You need an audio player that supports scrobbling to libre.fm, or more
generally speaking any client that can be configured to use libre.fm or
any other service of the likes.

use, but this usually involves pointing the program to
http://turtle.libre.fm/ and providing it with your libre.fm login
credentials.
