Summary: FORMATTING lost cell's formula after merge
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: x86 (IA32)
        OS/Version: Windows (All)
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Spreadsheet
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]

problem found in version 3.3.4 and 3.4.3

description (example), always reproductible
------------
- put a formula in B5 cell
- select the 3 cells A5-C5
- menu format / merge cells
=>you get a message "should the content of hidden cells be moved in the first
cell"
- if you press "no" the merged cells are erased with no more formula
(ok, it could be a feature)
- if you press "yes" "something" is moved in the first merged cells A5
BUT it is NOT the formula. the formula is lost and replaced by the value
if you try to unmerge the cells you found something in A5 but NOT the formula,
only the value

it is a BIG TRAP as all seems ok at first

but later, if you change anything in the spreadsheet there will be no update as
you formulas were lost and replaced by values that become obsoletes...
