As discussed in the UX list, it was agreed that adding the command "Protect
Sheet" to the sheet tab menu was desirable.
The thread initiated here:

The two screeshot attached were taken after the implementation. Sorry for the
Portuguese menu, but the "Protect Sheet" command is still in english.
