To repro:
Copy something to the clipboard. (e.g. some cells from the same sheet)
Select a cell.
Right click, Insert Comment.
Type some text, <enter> (as of you'd start a new line).
The previously copied cells are pasted to the selected cell, comment disappears
and is lost.
