             Bug #: 42202
Summary: LibreOffice Calc may eat up memory
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: LibO 3.4.3 release
          Platform: x86-64 (AMD64)
        OS/Version: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: major
          Priority: medium
         Component: Spreadsheet
        AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
        ReportedBy: ga...@kovesdan.org

When I was pasting the same value to the different cells, I accidentally
clicked on a column header instead of the first cell and then pressed Ctrl-v.
This resulted in LibreOffice Calc trying to paste the same value into all cells
of the row. The program became unresponsive and I saw in the task manager that
it started to consume more and more memory. I killed the process so I don't
know if it would ever have finished doing that but I think it is not really a
needed feature to have the same value in a whole column or if it, there should
be a confirmation dialog that tells the user that the operation can take a
while and the program will become unresponsive for the meantime.
