In what > moment does LibO crash with what messages? With document open, I go to Tools - Extension Manager. Click on the "PDF Import" item, which expands and turns blue. A Click on the "Check for Updates" button at the bottom makes Writer disappear without an error message. Repeated this twice in the last 10 minutes. After the first of these two crashes, the Launcher would open but there was no action from the Writer icon in the Favorites page, which froze. Could not start LO. Used CTL-ALT-DEL to reach the shutdown/restart window. Mouse cursor remained working and so could restart openSuse.
