             Bug #: 42638
           Summary: Feature request: floating menus
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: UI
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]

I don't know is it asked before, but I think it's a good feature to have in
LibreOffice. In my work I do allot of copy->paste mostly portions of text with
different formatting in various documents and if i want just the text (without
the formatting)I have only two options either from the menu edit->paste special
or using the shortcut keys witch sometimes is difficult because I have to press
three keys simultaneously. So is it going to be too difficult to add feature
like in MS office where if you paste a portion of text a little icon is
appearing witch is a menu with options like: keep only text, keep source
formatting an another one witch I don't remember. Or if it's too difficult to
implement such menu is there a chance to add the paste special function in the
right click context menu in LibreOffice.

*Sorry for the bad English, but it's not my native language
