a .png image with a screenshot of a .docx file opened in LibreOffice Writer
showing that it has no compatibility with formulas...
Problem description:
Sorry but I kind of feel that I have to indicate that: I almost got a bad mark
today for my semester work because of LibreOffice, good that LibreOffice has
"Save to PDF" option...
I wrote a lot of math formulas in LibreOffice's .odt, saved the file in .docx
and .doc so when I go to print them, the guys which btw use Microsoft Office
would not have problems with compatibility... But nope, when the guy opened the
files there was only the simple text and no formulas at all, good that I don't
know why took the notebook with me and converted the file to PDF with the
awesome feature which LibreOffice has...
Btw, the formulas written in Microsoft Word were not seen by LibreOffice too...
Steps to reproduce:
1. Write math formulas in LibreOffice and save the files as .doc or .docx
2. Open the files in the proprietary software - Microsoft Word.
3. Observe that there are no formulas...
