Usually in Formulas Cell Adresses are highlighted, so if you type in a cell
=F3
"F3" is written blue and F3 gets a blue box around.
However introducing absolute adressing in any of the cell adressess breaks
this, so if you have something like:
=$B$13/(B7*2)*(F7-F3)*$B$7
you don't know what you are mesing with...
