Glad to hear that the "switch to Skia/Metal" workaround improves scrolling
performance.

About a year ago, several Intel Mac users would see unexpected colors when
using Skia/Metal. IIRC, most of those Skia bugs stopped occurring when
LibreOffice started using a newer version of Google's Skia software in
LibreOffice 7.6.

So, it might be worth trying LibreOffice 7.6.4. You will still need to use
"switch to Skia/Metal" workaround with LibreOffice 7.6.4 but my hope is that
the newer version of Skia fixes the unexpected colors with Skia/Metal on your
machine.
