            Bug ID: 159345
Summary: Slow scrolling and selecting in Calc
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.5.9.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: macOS (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
Scrolling is jerky or doesn't happen. I am using a trackpad. Selecting cells is
slow. I am using a trackpad. The problem is not present in 7.5.8.2 but is in
all later versions of 7.5 that I have tried including 7.5.9.2. I think it is
not present in some versions of 7.6.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try to scroll in a Calc spreadsheet by dragging using two fingers on a
trackpad.
2. Try to select a set of cells by dragging using three fingers on a trackpad.
3.

Actual Results:
Scrolling action resulted in delayed or no scrolling. Selecting resulted in
delayed selection or occasionally individual cells being moved to another
location in the spreadsheet.

Expected Results:
Smooth scrolling, immediate selection.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
Version: 7.5.9.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: cdeefe45c17511d326101eed8008ac4092f278a9
CPU threads: 4; OS: Mac OS X 11.7.10; UI render: default; VCL: osx
Locale: en-GB (en_GB.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

I tried an ancient wireless mouse. Everything worked as expected except it
didn't seem to be able to scroll horizontally.

I tried running in safe mode and the problem persisted.

Reverting to 7.5.8.2 cured the problem.

I believe I tried a version of 7.6 and everything worked as expected. I would
have to retry if confirmation is needed.
