            Bug ID: 159398
Summary: EDITING: In Find and Replace, 'without case' doesn't
                    work
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.5.7.1 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
In the 'Find and Replace' submenu, the Format tab allows the specification of
many formats, including 'Effects: Case'. Choosing the option '(Without)' there
has no effect, neither in the Find line nor in the Replace line. It would be
needed, e.g. to remove small caps from a certain search string.
This bug is much older than version 7.5.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. CTRL-h
2. Find line: type some search string
3. Replace line: type the same string
4. Put cursor in either Find line or Replace line
5. Click 'Format - Font Effects - Effects - Case - (Without)
6. OK
(7. Replace)

Actual Results:
Nothing happens after step 6. Nor does step 7 have the desired effect.

Expected Results:
After step 6, the format choice should be shown beneath the Find line or the
Replace line, as the case may be. In step 7, the choice should be heeded.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
In the use case described, the button 'No Format' would do the job, too; but it
is not made available (greyed out).
