Description:
Hello, I am writing to report a bug that I noticed in LibreOffice 7.6.4 and
which persists in LibreOffice 24.2.0. This is a problem in the side pane with
keyboard shortcuts, before to open a specific page in the side pane you had to
use Ctl + Alt +1 for properties, Ctl + Alt + 2 for styles, etc., or , in newer
versions the keyboard shortcuts are only with Alt + 1, Alt + 2, etc. Except
that these new keyboard shortcuts conflict with Windows keyboard shortcuts for
inserting special characters into text (like Alt +144 to insert É which now
opens the properties and browser pane instead of inserting the character into
text ), which poses a quotient problem for me when using my word processor and
makes it almost impossible to insert a special character.
Actual Results:
Unable to insert special characters with Alt + number on Windows due to
conflict with keyboard shortcuts that open the side pane
Expected Results:
We should return to the keyboard shortcuts Ctl + Alt + 1/2/3/4/5/6/7 to remove
the conflict with special characters
Reproducible: Always
