--- Comment #9 from Richard Vinck <[email protected]> --- @Ady For LO 24.2, for your second paste (that you are performing while you are in cell's edit mode) you have to go to menu Edit > Paste Special > Paste Unformatted Text. --> Yes, that's exactly how it must work. In LO 24.2, while in cell's edit mode, the "normal" Paste action is correctly performed when you select "Paste" on the typical context menu. --> That's true. But why is the Paste Special > Paste Unformatted Text no longer in the context menu? It is so easy to edit LOCALLY, especially on a large screen. Now I need to move the cursor from (often) the right bottom corner of the screen to the upper left corner to click there, and then come back to the right bottom cell to select the next cell... The input box in the formula bar is supposed to accept the pasted text but not the format. --> I know. Paste is not what I need in this case, but paste unformatted text. It is also almost in the upper left corner of the screen... IMO, this is not a bug, but an improvement, because the normal "Paste" is pasting with format, as it happens with any other normal paste in cell. --> As I said, it worked fine in the previous version of LO, because there was Normal Paste AND Paste Unformatted Text in the context menu. Now I need to stick to version 7.6.4.1, what a pity. Removing an existing function is rarely an improvement. Anyway, I appreciate your time Ady, thank you very much. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
