--- Comment #2 from Bugcruncher <[email protected]> --- Hi Cor Nouws, I think that that is something different. Edit » Paste Special (only text and numbers checked) works fine, but Paste Icon in Standard Toolbar » Paste as Plain Text shows the problem, also after I pasted 1 time successfully with Edit » Paste Special. This happens since I updated from 3.6.6 to 4.0.3 The strange thing that the cell to where I pasted still shows the correct currency formatting, but as reported the number looking string is left aligned, and when I do a calculation (=A2/2) I get error #VALUE!. And it's definitively pasted as string, for A2 I see "1234,56 €" instead of "1234,56" in the Input Line. Because of thi May be I should mention: German UI, German Localization, WIN7 For me it looks as if in 366 the Icon - Plain text has "enhanced number recognition" (or how it might be called in English) = ON by default for a single cell, and OFF in 366. At least I see when I try with source contents in A1:A2 and Paste that as plain text to A3(:A4): With enr = ON I get currency values, with enr = OFF I get the unexpected string result. And it seems 4.0.3 has enr = OFF by default, what might have been different in 3.6 and before (at least I never had to think about that). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
