            Bug ID: 159798
Summary: the num pad works inverted respect other software
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 24.2.0.3 release
          Hardware: Other
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
I have discovered that if I try to insert a special character using the num pad
it doesn't work and open the tabs of the right sidebar.
This happen when the Bloc Num key on my keyboard is lit/active, to make it
working I have to deactivate this Bloc Num key. Besides deactivating this key
button the character chosen is not not printed in the cursor position but after
the cursor.

I mean that if for exemple I want to insert the í = Alt+0237

I have to deactivate the Bloc Num and if I have a word such as Categor and I
want to add that í, usually I go after the r and digit Alt+0237 but in this
case the í will be set in this position Categoír and not following the r as it
should be Categorí.

This happen in Writer, Draw and Calc.
This problem happened with latest version of 7.x and it is still present in the
v. 24.x latest of January 31st.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start writer or draw. Have the Bloc Num key active
2. Try to insert a unicode character using the num keypad alt+0237 or whatever
else. You see the right sidebar opening instead of inserting the character.
3. Deactivate the Bloc Num key and the character is inserted in the wrong
position, before the last character present in the row.

Actual Results:
It opens the right sidebar

Expected Results:
It has to insert the Unicode character following latest character in the
sentence where the cursor is

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
I use a laptop intel i7 with windows 10. Using any other software to insert
number with the Num keypad the Bloc Num should be active and characters are
inserted correctly without any bad performance.
