In writer positioning is correct. Changes to the formula are not syncd to sd canvas when creating new or editing an existing formula. A buffering issue? @Mike, one you might be interested in. IIRC you'd tweaked the preview in sm to pick up the zoom and anchor position of the formula being placed on the writer page.
