One more question: which keyboard layout is your Mac set to? If you search for "keyboard layouts" in the System Preference application, what is the first keyboards layout in the "All Input Sources" section that you see? I usually have my Mac set to "U.S." (i.e. QWERTY) or "French" (i.e. AZERTY) so maybe this bug only happens with certain keyboard layouts.
