--- Comment #3 from Mustela <mustela...@yahoo.es> ---
Ok, now I check for versions 3.6.6.2 and 4.0.3.3.

*Test on WINDOWS XP (Pro, without antivirus) i386*

V. 3.6.6.2: the static instances on memory has been patched. When fast icon is
loaded (soffice.exe & soffice.bin) and I execute Writer from Start menu (not
from fast icon), it seems loads 4 new instances: 2 soffice.exe, 1 swriter.exe
and 1 soffice.bin, but when is executed (relatively fast), removes these new
instances from memory.

V. 4.0.3.3: the start of applications is very similar to 3.6.6, and the problem
of memory is similar too. The difference is that no load 3 instances when fast
icon is in memory, load only 1 soffice.bin (removed when application is
runned).

*Test on WINDOWS v6.x (7 Pro N without antivirus) amd64*

All versions has been improved in loading speed than the other versions. It is
similar to XP, but only a little bit slow (problem of Windows, sure). The
loading instances seems equal.

*Installation/Uninstallation*

The Windows v6.x is order of 4X SLOWER than XP, but I sure that this problem is
by Windows.

-----------

IDEA: The problem of new instances, can resolve with executing a shell that
load soffice of memory instead of binary, with the same icons? If quick icon is
loaded on memory, it can execute very fast (like instantly). If not quick icon,
then call to binary at normal speed.

-----------

Good work improving performance. I'm grateful.

Saludos.
