Bug ID: 160030
Summary: [24.2.1.2] Selected text/cells not highlighted while
using Windows 10 High Contrast mode
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 24.2.1.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: LibreOffice
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
Hi, I very recently updated from LibreOffice 7.6 to 24.2.1.2 and now the cells
in Calc or text in Writer or Math do not show any highlighting when I select
them when Windows 10 is in High Contrast mode (the highlighting works fine in
standard Windows 10 Bright mode).
Text in Impress and Draw does show highlighting when selected.
Selection Highlighting works fine in Safe Mode, weirdly. Resetting my user
profile manually or via Safe Mode - as described on the wiki - did not solve
the problem.
Selection Highlighting in High Contrast mode worked fine on 7.6, background
color changed from black to white and text from white to black to show it was
selected.
Thank you for your assistance, and have a nice day.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Turn on Windows 10's High Contrast mode.
2. Open LibreOffice Writer, Calc or Math.
3. Select any text or cells.
Actual Results:
The selected text or cells do not show any color change at all to show they
have been selected. Selection do function normally though.
Expected Results:
Colors should have been inverted to reflect that they're selected, in High
Contrast mode background color should have turned from black to white and text
should have turned to white.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
