Let's focus on Draw here, as some of the original requests only concern Draw. Some updates: 1) Single click does select the object now, which allows e.g. using handles to resize. The focus remains on the sidebar though, which is good for e.g. multiple selection or navigation via keyboard. A double-click focuses the object on canvas, which makes sense. A double-click on the name allows editing it. Drag-and-drop into groups works since 7.5 and the fix for bug 145359. 5) Some recent naming improvements for 24.8 in 1fd359790ed4a27902248d92ee343a4aeaf63c8e 6) "Page" instead of "Slide" should be OK now, but many issues remain.
