Bug ID: 160182
Summary: Short cut to next page (ELEMENT)
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 24.2.0.3 release
Hardware: Other
OS: macOS (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
Hi, I am using Libre Office 24.2 on a mac mini m2. I have a writer file with
3 pages. I have used the tools/customize menu to create a NEXT ELEMENT. -
command plus 6. this works to cycle through the 3 page This is what I did. 1)
I searched the shortcut keys in customize/keyboard. To me it appears there is
a dual role in this area. That is if you want to assign a short cut you do not
want to overwrite a function. They (both shortcut and function ) appear in the
same menu. Yes I am confused if NEXT EKEMENT is a shortcut or function, I also
don't know what the difference would be when pressing command and 6?. That is
Page 1, then page 2 then page 3 than Page 1 again. Works great! However when
I create another document is does not do the same, it doesn't cycle. does not
advance?
Steps to Reproduce:
1.This is what I did. 1) I searched the shortcut keys in customize/keyboard.
To me it appears there is a dual role in this area. That is if you want to
assign a short cut you do not want to overwrite a function. They (both
shortcut and function ) appear in the same menu. 2) Try to use by pressing
command and 6
3.It does not work on most files.odt.
Actual Results:
see above
Expected Results:
see above
Reproducible: Sometimes
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
I am also running Command Post. https://commandpost.io/download/. I have a
MIDI foot pedal {PACER by Nektar) sending Commmand (#) and 6 to LW. When #6
shortcut key works so does the MIDI controller and vise versa. I Have taken it
out and I still have the same issue.
I did not reset My user password because it is an intermittent issue.
