Note that I actually copied the value "100" from a different cell for step 4.
If you copy 100%, it actually holds the value 1 (and therefore, dividing by 1
would not have any impact on existing values). Is that what you did?
(Remember that using "format as percent" changes the underlying numerical
values, e.g. from 100 to 1.)
