            Bug ID: 160290
Summary: Right-clicking to select an always-shown comment in
Calc "clicks through" and selects the cell behind it
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: Inherited From OOo
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Sample spreadsheet

1. In a spreadsheet, Insert a comment in a cell
2. Right-click the cell, enable "Show comment" so that it remains shown at all
times, not only on hover.
3. Deselect the cell
4. Try to right-click anywhere on the shown comment

Result: it selects the cell underneath the comment, instead of selecting the
comment for right-click operations.

See attached sample, and attached demonstration video.

Tested with:

Version: 24.2.1.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: db4def46b0453cc22e2d0305797cf981b68ef5ac
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 6.7; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Flatpak
Calc: threaded

This was tested primarily under Wayland, but I believe this was happening with
Xorg too, in every previous LibreOffice release.
