That solved the problem. But in another (large) file without empty paragraph at the end the problem still exists. I have no idea what the error the validator gives mean. I only edit this file in LibreOffice. But I thought: maybe if I just make a new file and type the old file by hand over (it's a very small file). Maybe the errors the validator gives are then gone and maybe that makes a difference in other files too. Well, I typed the first part of the file until the bold 'CSS'. Including font styles, borders, etc. Copied that part with ^A ^C: writer hangs.
