Priority: medium
Bug ID: 65121
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: implement floating objects
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: All
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: Other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: unspecified
Component: Writer
Product: LibreOffice
Created attachment 79946
--> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=79946&action=edit
.odt file to reproduce the problem
Currently, the placement of figures in LO writer is suboptimal.
In the attached example, the figure is too large to be placed at the end of the
first page, so it is moved to the second page.
This is OK, but the following paragraphs should fill the end of the first page
so that there is no large white space in the document.
This can be done manually by a copy/paste of these paragraphs, but each time
the document is modified, the placement of figures should be checked and
modified.
An automatic solution is needed.
