            Bug ID: 160576
Summary: Formatting not possible for converted txt files in
                    calc
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 3.3.4 release
          Hardware: x86 (IA32)
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
I try to convert data from a .txt file into a ods file. No matter what manual
conversion I apply, it is not possible to receive reasonable results. E.g. I
try to summarize cells O22-O38 into P38. Result is always 0. This happens to
other cells as well. I want to format column K into a date format. Error is
FMT. I try to replace '.' with ','. Still no results. I tried to delete a
leading ' which shows up in the cells. Not possible so it is obviously not
there.
Column I contains cost of a singel item, e.g. 5.19. In some fields the . (or ,
if I use that) is not recognized and a useless number appears (e.g. 1395
instead of 1.395)

Steps to Reproduce:
1.load .txt file
2. try to convert data in column O to numbers
3. summarize in a free field
4. try to change date format
5. try to get correct data in column I

Actual Results:
see desricption

Expected Results:
correct data transformation and data recognition

Reproducible: Always
