Bug ID: 160811
Summary: Bullet levels are not handled properly in converted
pptx presentation
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 24.2.2.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Impress
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
A simple converted pptx presentation shows well in PowerPoint. However, when
trying to change some bullet levels, things are messed up. This does not arise
with a converted ppt presentation.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the attached text.odp (simple presentation with some bullets of
different levels)
2. Convert the presentation to pptx and ppt format
3. Open test.pptx
3a. Position the cursor at the end of "Text 1" and press Enter, then Tab to add
a new lower bullet level: the cursor becomes tiny and the font size becomes
very small. Pressing Tab several times doesn't do anything (no new bullet level
added)
3b. Do the same at the end of "Text 3" or "Text 4" or "Text 5": the new bullet
and text have the correct size but Tab doesn't do anything (no new bullet level
added)
4. Open test.ppt and do the same as in points a and b. New bullet levels with
correct size are created as expected
Note that ppt format has many issues with graphics formats conversion, so
sticking with this format is not a viable solution.
