Well, the short version is that the UI fonts (not the document fonts) are blurry when Skia is enabled on my system. This specific problem can be solved by disabling Skia. However, it causes a drastic loss of performance (e.g. scrolling is very choppy), so I can't just do it. The Software Rendering option has no visual effect, but I was surprised that I couldn't turn it off outside of Safe Mode. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with this particular problem. I've also tried resetting my user profile in the meantime, but unfortunately that didn't solve the problem.
