Can still reproduce this bug on latest
Version: 24.2.3.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 433d9c2ded56988e8a90e6b2e771ee4e6a5ab2ba
CPU threads: 24; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 22631; UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win
Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR); UI: fr-FR
Calc: CL threaded

1.open new calc doc

2.choose any cell

3.type "[email protected] additional text" (without "" of course)

4.this bug will happen ONLY when the email is automatically recognized as an
EMAIL by Calc. => To do so, you have to "do something" until the email is
automatically underlined and color changed. NOW it's a recognized email. (not
sure how to make Calc recognize it's an email, it's erratic... Best way is to
add/remove a letter in the email and press [ENTER]. If it doesn't work, try to
reduce the email to something like [email protected] and press [ENTER]).

(4bis : NOW you have an email, you can copy/paste this cell to duplicate it and
keep this email for mutliple test)

5. Now we have a email in the cell, try to select the text "addionnal" and
modify it (like delete it) and press [ENTER].

=> Expected : string "[email protected] text" in the cell.
=> actual result / BUG : text is not modified, the string is unmodified.
