But I perform simplest /a administrative msiexec.exe from command line with a TARGETDIR= parameter, then modify the program/bootstrap.ini to use an $ORIGIN/.. value. When launched, just one soffice.bin process is present in Task Manager. Close/shutdown removes that process.
