Priority: medium
Bug ID: 65218
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: Collect fonts with many styles under the label of the
regular
Severity: enhancement
Classification: Unclassified
OS: All
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: Other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: unspecified
Component: Libreoffice
Product: LibreOffice
There are tonnes of fonts out there that have more than four styles of regular,
italic, bold, and bold italic. Take for example Lukasz Dziedzic's Lato
(http://www.google.com/fonts/specimen/Lato) or Steve Matteson's Open Sans
(http://www.google.com/fonts/specimen/Open+Sans). Yet if a font has styles
other than these, LibreOffice displays them in a separate entry. These fonts
should all be collected under the label of the regular style, with the
non-canonical styles accessible from the character dialog.
As far as I know, the only applications that do this are Adobe Creative Suite.
