Summary: working on a writer document with math formulas,
writer crash, then formulas disappeard (logo puzzle
replace it) and can not be recovered. The file was
saved before but it is the same on file saved before

It's the fourth time it happened to me
I was working on writer on LibreOffice 6.4.7.2 40(Build:2)
running on a lubuntu (Linux Z210 5.4.0-182-generic #202-Ubuntu SMP Fri Apr 26
12:29:36 UTC 2024 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux)
I have saved a document again
I have one "alert" (a formula has been modified and when i exit the formula to
go to writer the modification has lost. I saved the document, and i saved again
the document on a new name.
then i worked on another formula. Libreoffice crashed.
i launch again libreoffice
the recovery find a document but most of the formulas (not all of them) was
replaced by a "puzzle" named "objet xxx"
i close libreoffice again and reload it, trying opening my saved document. It's
the same.
The same on another computer with another libreoffice (on windows 10)
i can send you the files with problems if necessary
I haven't identify the cause of crash; but must of crashed formulas are copy of
other existing formulas which has been modified before.
sorry for the poor english, difficult for me to speak this language
IF the problem appear again and again i will have to quit libreoffice to
another editor, formulas is vital for me (i have quit microsoft word because of
bugs in formulas, and i find latex too complex to be used)
Steps to Reproduce:
1.start a document writer
2.insert text & formulas in it
3.copy / paste / modify formulas
4. save document
5. modify formulas
6. save again
7. some times it crashs
8. reopen document (or use automatic recovery)
9. hurry & cry because hours of works are lost in the file
10. go back to microsoft word or go to latex
Actual Results:
after crash, formulas are replaced by "object xxx" and cannot be modified or
recovered again
Expected Results:
no crash, or, if crash, the formulas can be recovered (at least the text of the
formula which can permise to regenerate it easily. Nothing can be saved,

for three time on four it append to me, the file was modified from a micro$oft
office one with formulas
