--- Comment #7 from Eduardo Martínez <[email protected]> ---
Working on the problem, I have observed that when a section that contains
tables is hidden, as many pages are inserted in the document as there are rows
in the hidden table.... It is possible that this causes that when opening a
document with many hidden sections, some of them with tables, LO may not be
able to open it correctly (possibly trying to insert all the "newly created"
pages).
Ideally, if a section is hidden, it will not be displayed in any case and, if
possible, the numbering of the titles found within the hidden section will not
be counted either. Until now, I have solved it by moving those titles to the
end of the title on which they depend, so, since they are not reflected in the
index, it does not affect the numbering of the rest of the titles in the
document. But with LO 23, pages would be inserted at the end, as many as there
are rows in the hidden tables.
Obviously, inserting as many pages as rows is an error in the interpretation of
the XML that defines the .odt file.
