Bug ID: 161463
Summary: Table: Editing and saving table changes maybe
strikeout formatting
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 24.2.0.3 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
I tried to save some strikenout text when the application crashed. This table
also has problems with losing the three heading rows after save multiple times.
It also loses formatting to saved rows with strikeout text returning to
unstruckout text even after they were previously saved. It has crashed several
times without a crash report too. Recovery generally returns a considerable
portion of changes.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.rows that contain {...}* text should be completely formatted with strikeout
The following content is one such example also from page 17
{netGadlt}*
224
255
{not used}*
{192.168.60.224 0.0.0.31}*
2.Rows that contain two conflicting IP/Mask values should be partially
formatted as strikeout.
There is a row on Page 17 that contains the following items in 5 cells. In
that row I attempted to strikeout the 192 and 223 and 192.168.61.192 0.0.0.31
leaving all other text alone just before a save when the application generated
a crash report.

Actual Results:
On save in this case the crash report was generated. At other times the app
just disappears and has to be restarted.
Expected Results:
Software should maintain heading settings and strikeout text formatting.
Reproducible: Sometimes
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
Periodically at undetermined times lose heading settings and more often lose
strikeout formatting even on rows already saved. Will attempt to reset user
profile. Will attempt to reset the user profile. Updates will follow.
