However,#2 would probably be stored in a temporary file location, which then would be erased when the PC is rebooted. So I would NOT expect a SessionSave to attempt to recover that file (unless there were pending modifications to it). In other words, a recovery file should not be created for every unmodified document that is open. Think for example of someone first re-organizing the document directory after the reboot.
