Description:
Exporting to PDF with the option "Archive PDF/A, version PDF/A-1b" will
generate a non-compliant PDF/A-1b file.
Compliance is verified using the veraPDF tool available at
https://demo.verapdf.org/.
(veraPDF greenfield foundry instance. v1.26.1; verapdf-rest v1.26.1 5/24/2024
5:12:00 PM).
Exporting with the "version PDF/A-2b" and "version PDF/A-3b" options generates
matching PDF files.
Exporting to PDF/A with the "version PDF/A-1b" option works fine in LibreOffice
7.6.7.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install LibreOffice 24.2.4.2 (or probably any of the 24.2.x series)
2. open demo files (attached) and export to PDF/A with option "version
PDF/A-1b"
3. open exported file in verification/validation tool https://demo.verapdf.org/
and run validation process
Actual Results:
non-conformant PDF/A-1b exported file
Expected Results:
compliant PDF/A-1b exported file
